Christmas Cinnamon Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 egg; separated
• 2 cups flour
• 1 tablespoon cinnamon
• 1 cup pecans; finely chopped

Method

Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten egg yolk. Mix in flour an cinnamon. Lightly butter 10 by 15 inch baking pan. Spread mixture covering pan. Brush slightly beaten egg white over batter. Sprinkle with pecans, pat lightly. Bake for 30 minutes at 325°F. Cut into bars when warm. Do not remove from pan until cool.
