Christmas Streusel Coffee Cake

Ingredients
Streusel Mixture

• 1 cup brown sugar
• 4 tablespoons flour
• 4 teaspoons cinnamon
• 4 tablespoons melted butter
• 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Mix together

Cake Mixture

• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 1/2 cup butter
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup milk
• 3 cups sifted flour
• 4 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method

Mix together sugar, butter eggs; stir in milk. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.  Combine both mixtures. Grease and flour a 9 by 13 inch pan, pour half of the mixture and spread in pan, sprinkle half of streusel mixture, add remaining batter then the rest of streusel mixture. Bake at 375°F for 25 to 30 minutes.
