 Christmas Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
  • 1 1/4 cups white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk

Method

Combine butter with cream cheese. Add sugar and blend until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Add remaining ingredients alternately with milk. Beat for 5 minutes. Pour batter into well greased tube pan and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
