Cornbread Topped Broccoli Bake

Ingredients 
  • 2 packages chopped frozen broccoli; cooked
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 medium onion; chopped
  • 1/2 package cornbread stuffing mix, crumbly
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
Method 

Cook broccoli as directed and drain. In separate mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the remaining ingredients with drained broccoli except cornbread and margarine. Pour into a casserole dish. Then top with cornbread stuffing and the 1/2 stick of butter, evenly distributing the margarine in slices on top. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. If taking to a social function, bake for only 30 minutes at home and heat for 15 minutes after arrival.
