Valentines Day is a time of love, a time to reach out and tell that special person in your life, how much you care.
It's a time, when you dare to tell the one you have been yearning after, just how you feel. A time to be just a little drunk on that sweet feeling of desire.
There are so many ways to tell your heart's desire just how you feel, a card, a poem, flowers, or candy.
Now with the internet so popular, with a click of your mouse you can reach that special person in seconds.
One of my very favorite places to visit is Animated Cyberkisses, you can send a card, or linger for a minute and read the stories about someone's first kiss, or take a look through the flower section and see, just what flower does fit, for your own true love. Take a minute and take a look, I promise you won't be sorry.
Now that I promoted that page, shamelessly I might add, on to what is one of my passions.

Cooking, with a capital C.
Read on to find out why food is really the recipe of love!
Arousing Aromas

The sense of smell is closely connected to the sense of taste and also sends a powerful subliminal message to your lover. The grand French courtesans of the nineteenth century knew this and went to elaborate lengths to please their lovers. Silken bed linens were sprayed with special scents, fragrant flower arrangements set inside bedrooms and their baths were sprinkled with scented oils. These women were expert at the fine art of seduction!
Alan R. Hirsch, M.D., a neurologist at the Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation of Chicago, Illinois performed studies of food smells and concluded that aromas such as those from pumpkin pie and freshly baked cinnamon buns can be more sexually stimulating than a bottle of
Chanel No. 5 perfume.

With a little preparation, man or woman, can prepare a very romantic meal, and setting.
With one thing in mind, remember this is a night for romance, so keep your dinner light, because what a shame it would be, if after all your preparation, your partner falls asleep after the meal, you so lovingly prepared.
Presentation is very important!
Picture the evening in your mind as you set out to prepare the stage.
You've already dressed in your most romantic attire, and of course you visited Animated Cyberkisses, and sent the card to invite your hearts desire for this little tete a tete.
A blustery, cold evening, and nightfall comes early.
Prepare the fireplace, so that with one light of a match, you can have a blazing fire. A few oversized pillows scattered in front of the fireplace sets the mood. Remember ladies we look absolutely stunning in flickering firelight or candlelight, so a few candles strategically placed is a good thing. Have a small table, (within your reach) with a white linen cloth and upon this table sets a crystal bowl, brimming with lucious strawberries dipped in chocolate, and a bottle of your favorite wine chilling on ice. A beautiful bouquet of fragrant flowers. Now tell me who could resist such a setting.
Following are just a few recipes, easy to make and can be done ahead of time.
And a couple of pages I hope you take the time to visit.
