Chocolate Slices

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 2 tablespoons white honey

  • 4 1/2 tablespoons cocoa

  • 8 ounces semi-sweet biscuits

  • 2 tablespoons raisins

  • 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (use your favorite)

Method

Crush the biscuits, by putting them in a clean bag and beat the bag gently. Grind the nuts. Put the butter, honey and cocoa into a pan and cook on low heat until butter melts. Stir occasionally, and REMOVE as soon as the butter melts. Stir together thoroughly. As soon as the butter mixture has cooled slightly, add the crushed biscuits and nuts, stir thoroughly. Take a 2 cup capacity cake tin and grease it. Pour in the biscuit mixture and press in slightly. Refrigerate to cool and set. After completely cooled and set, put the tin in warm water, and then invert the tin on a plate. Cut into thin slices and serve. Add a scoop of ice cream, makes it pretty and tasty.
