Preheat oven to
300°F. To
prepare crust, mix flour, sugar, butter and nuts together
in mixing bowl with a wooden spoon. Using
the palm of your hand, spread dough evenly in bottom
of 9 inch springform pan. Bake
crust for no more than 15 minutes, until light golden brown. To
prepare filling, soften cream cheese with wooden spoon in mixing bowl,
adding sugar in increments until it is all incorporated. Then
add cornstarch in the same manner.
Add 1 egg at
a time, beating until smooth. In
another bowl blend together pumpkin and sour cream. Add
cream cheese mixture, blending together until smooth. Pour
into crust and bake for 45 minutes. Cool
in pan, in the refrigerator for 4 hours before serving.
