Delicious Salads & Dressings hot cold and spicy

 


Basic Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 3 cups vegetable oil
  • 8 fluid oz vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard, optional
  • 2 tablespoons fine herbs, optional
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs; chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar, optional

Method

Combine all of the ingredients and whisk them until they are thoroughly blended. Adjust the seasoning with additional salt, pepper or sugar.
