Method Partially peel potatoes and cut into large chunks. Boil until near tender. Drain. Cook bacon and remove from pan and chop. Add onion to skillet with bacon fat until tender. Add flour, celery seed, sugar, salt. Cook until bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in water and vinegar. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir one minute. Stir in bacon and potatoes. |
