Carrot Salad 1

Ingredients
  • 1 pound carrots
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 large onion
  • 1/4 cup raw celery

Method

Cut carrots in thin slices and cook to a boil for 8 minutes. Cut up green pepper, onion and celery in bite size pieces. Mix raw ingredients with boil carrots and pour sauce over them. Recipe for sauce is below. Cover tightly and leave in refrigerator for one week before using.
Sauce
Mix with electric mixer 1/2 can tomato soup, 1/2 cup white sugar, 1/2 cup salad oil, 1/3 cup vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper, 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard.

This is a great recipe for a make ahead party.
