Method Cut up apples and sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent them from turning brown. Plump the raisins by putting them in a bowl and adding enough warm tap water to cover them completely. Allow them to soften and drain very well when you need them. Chop the celery; (about 2 stalks). Add walnuts, you can omit them if you don't have any. Mix everything together in a medium sized bowl with the mayonnaise and sugar. Serve immediately or chill overnight. Serves: 6 |
