Bean Salad

Ingredients
  • 2 cans (14 oz each) green beans
  • 1 can (14 oz) yellow wax beans
  • 1 can (14 oz) kidney beans
  • 1 can (14 oz) lima beans (optional)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2/3 cup white vinegar
  • 1/3 cup salad oil
  • 1/2 to 2/3 cup sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

Drain beans well. Slice onion and green pepper in rings; add to beans. Combine remaining ingredients; mix well and pour over vegetables. Marinate 24 hours before serving.

Yield: 6-8 servings
