Blackberry Jam
Ingredients:
- 16 cup blackberries ( 1/2 cup water rind and juice of 2 lemons 14 cups sugar)
Put the cleaned fruit, the water, and lemon rind and juice in the pan. Simmer until the fruit is soft. Stir in the sugar and boil rapidly until setting point is reached. Pour into hot sterilized jars. Yield: 5 quarts
