Caramel Corn



Ingredients:
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 cup brown sugar (firmly packed )
- 1/2 cup butter ( or margarine)
- 6 cup corn (popped pop)
- 2 tablespoon corn ( syrup)
- 1/2 cup liver (toasted almond ss)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 250°F. Spread popcorn in a 15 by 10 by 1 inch pan; sprinkle almonds over popcorn. In large saucepan, combine brown sugar, margarine, 2 tablespoons water, corn syrup and salt; bring to a boil over medium heat; boiling for 2 minutes and stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda; mix well. Pour over popcorn and almonds; toss until coated. Bake for 15 minutes, stir and continue baking for another 15 minutes. Immediately spread on foil or waxed paper to cool.
