Cream Cheese Frosting



Ingredients:
- 2 butter ((3 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup ; softened 2 teaspoons vanilla 4 3/4 cups powdered)
Directions:
Beat together cream cheese, butter, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Gradually add 2 cups powdered sugar, beating well. Add another 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 cups of powdered sugar to reach spreading consistency. Cover and store cake in refrigerator. Yield: This frost tops and sides of two 8- or 9 inch layers.
