Banana Cream Pie: Quick



Ingredients:
- 1 vanilla (prepared 9 inch wafer pie crust)
- 1 banana (large box instant pudding and pie filling (any brand))
- 1 banana (large ripe , sliced)
Directions:
Cover bottom of pie shell with banana slices. Line sides of pie shell with whole vanilla wafer cookies if desired. Add banana pudding to fill. Spread evenly and chill well. Top with a layer of whipped cream immediately before serving and garnish with additional banana slices or maraschino cherries. Yield: 6 servings Vanilla Wafer Pie Crust 1 1/2 cups finely crushed vanilla wafer cookies 1/3 cup melted butter or margarine Method Combine ingredients. Press firmly into 9-inch pie plate, covering bottom and sides evenly. Bake at 350ºF for 10 minutes. Allow to cool before filling. Submitted by: Donna
