Cherry Tarts
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoon corn (starch)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup cherry (unsweetened juice)
- 3 tablespoon juice (orange )
- 1 tablespoon juice (lemon )
- 1 teaspoon orange (grated rind)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 cup cherries (red tart unsweetened )
- 9 tart shells
- 2 tablespoon corn (starch)

- 1 cup cherry (unsweetened juice)
- 3 tablespoon juice (orange )
- 1 tablespoon juice (lemon )
- 1 teaspoon orange (grated rind)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 cup cherries (red tart unsweetened )
- 9 tart shells
Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and fruit juices. Cook over direct heat for 5 minutes or until thickened and clear. Remove from heat; add butter, orange rind and cherries. Cool. Put into tart shells. Serve plain or with ice cream or whipped cream. Yield: 9 servings Submitted by Sheri
