Vegetable Salad



Ingredients:
- 8 bacon (slices , crisp cooked, drained and crumbled)
- 1 cup cheese (shredded swiss )
- 5 ounce peas (frozen , thawed)
- 1/2 lettuce (head iceberg , torn)
- 3 egg (hard cooked s, sliced)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise ( or salad dressing)
Directions:
In bottom of large bowl, place 1/2 of the lettuce; sprinkle with a little sugar, salt and pepper. Layer eggs on top of lettuce in bowl,. Sprinkle generously with salt. Next, layer in order, peas, remaining lettuce, bacon and cheese. Spread mayonnaise or salad dressing on top, sealing to edge of bowl. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Garnish with slice green onions and paprika, if desired. Toss before serving.
