Christmas Cake Cookies



Ingredients:
- 2 pound date (s)
- 1/2 pound cherries (candied )
- 1/2 pound apple (candied pine)
- 1/2 pound almond (shelled s)
- 1/2 pound nuts (brazil )
- 2 1/2 cup flour (sifted )
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup butter ( or margarine)
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 egg (s)
Directions:
Chop almonds and toast until golden brown. Cream butter and gradually add sugar, then beat in eggs thoroughly. Stir in dry ingredients, fruit and nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes, 325°F for 35 minutes. Don't over bake.
