Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup brown sugar (light )
- 2 butter (sticks softened)
- 1 cup butter (creamy peanut )
- 3 1/2 cup flour (all purpose sifted)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 egg (s)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 snickers bars (package (13 oz) snickers brand miniatures (i found these at wal-mart in the candy section))
- 1 cup brown sugar (light )
- 2 butter (sticks softened)
- 1 cup butter (creamy peanut )
- 3 1/2 cup flour (all purpose sifted)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 egg (s)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 snickers bars (package (13 oz) snickers brand miniatures (i found these at wal-mart in the candy section))
Combine the butter, peanut butter and sugars using a mixer on a medium to low speed until light and fluffy. Slowly add eggs and vanilla until thoroughly combined. Then min in flour, slat and baking soda. Cover and chill dough for 2 hours. Unwrap all the snicker brand miniatures. Remove dough from refrigerator. Divide into 1 tablespoon pieces and flatten. Place a snicker in the center of each piece of dough and form into a ball around the snicker. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 300°F for 10 to 12 minutes. Let cookies cool on a baking rack. You can decorate these cookies with powdered sugar or drizzle chocolate over the top, but I found they were delicious without the decorations. *NOTE: My granddaughter is allergic to peanuts, and I wanted to make her these surprise cookies. So I took my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe and made it, the only change I made was I put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours after I mixed the dough. I used the Mars Bars Miniatures instead of the snickers. They turned out delicious. A big hit in our household. .
