Ingredients

cup brown sugar
- 1/4
cup butter
- 2
eggs
- pinch
of salt
- 1/2
teaspoon vanilla
- 1/3
cup corn syrup or maple syrup (optional)
- 1
- 1 1/2 cups raisins
- pastry
for 12 medium tarts.
Method
Heat oven to 400°F. Prepare pastry dough. Wash
and dry raisins. Cream brown sugar and butter. Add eggs, salt, vanilla and
corn syrup; mix well. Fold in raisins. Place pasty into muffin or
tart tins. Place filling by spoonfuls into tart shells. Bake for 8
minutes and then reduce heat to 350°F and bake for an additional 5- 10
minutes or until pastry is delicately browned.
Yield:
