Banana
Cream Pie 2
Ingredients
- 3
tablespoons flour
- 1
tablespoon corn flour
- 1/2
cup sugar
- 1/4
teaspoon salt
- 2
egg yolks, beaten
- 1
cup milk
- 1
cup cream
- 1
teaspoon vanilla
- 1
baked 8 or 9 inch pie shell
- sliced
bananas
Method
Mix
dry ingredients together. Stir in eggs into milk and cream; add to
dry ingredients.
Cook until
thick; add vanilla. Cool. Pour into pie shell. Add bananas. Coconut
may be substituted for bananas. If you use coconut add 1/4 cup
coconut to filling; sprinkle same amount on top.
Yield: 5 servings
