Chex Treats

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup margarine

• 1/2 cup brown sugar

• 2 teaspoons maple extract

• 1 box Chex cereal ( your choice)

• 1/2 to 1 cup salted peanuts

• M & M's®

Method

Melt margarine and add brown sugar and mix together; add maple extract; stir well. Pour this mixture over the box of cereal. Add 1/2 to 1 cup peanuts to taste and mix well. Spread on cookie sheet and bake at 325°F for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. After cooling add some M& M's as much as you would like. Store in air tight container.
