Almond Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose
flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 tablespoon apple cider
vinegar
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 1 cup cold water
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Sift together
the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and
salt into a 9 inch square baking
pan.
Add the butter, almond extract, vinegar,
almonds and water.
Stir well until blended.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until a
knife comes out clean.
Remove and cool on a rack.
Cut into 16 squares.
