Ingredients

cups all purpose flour

salt

sugar

baking powder

3 eggs,
separated

1 cup
milk
Method
Stir
dry ingredients together.
Cut
in butter, with pastry blender or two knives, until mixture is crumbly.
Beat
egg yolks thoroughly; add milk and stir into dry ingredients until moistened.
Fold
in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Filled
greased muffin pans 2/3 full and bake in a hot oven (400F) 25 to 30 minutes.
Yield:
12 - 15 medium size muffins
