Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3 ounces sugar
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup rolled
oats
- 2 ounces butter
- 1 tablespoon
golden syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon
baking soda
- 2 tablespoons
boiling water.
Method
In a bowl mix
together flour, sugar, coconut and rolled oats.
In a pot melt
the butter and golden syrup to make the wet mix.
In a cup put in
baking soda and boiling water.
Add to syrup
mixture.
Make a well in
the flour, pour in mixture and mix into a firm dough.
Place
teaspoonfuls onto a cold greased tray.
Bake at 325F°
until golden brown.
