Strawberries and Ice Cream

 
Ingredients 
  • 1 quart low fat vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt 
  • 2 pints or 1 quart fresh, ripe strawberries 
  • 1 tablespoon sugar 
Method 

Wash the strawberries, and remove the stems.  
Slice the strawberries, put them into a mixing bowl and toss  
them with the sugar.  
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for not more  
than two hours. They'll get too mushy.  
Spoon over ice cream.
