Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9 inch pastry shell 
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine 
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar 
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup 
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten 
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons all purpose flour 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt 
  • 1 cup pecan halves 
Method 

Cook pastry shell according to directions. Set aside. Put butter in micro proof mixing bowl. Cook on HI for 1 minute, or until melted. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour mixture into prepared pastry shell. Cook on simmer or LO for 25 minutes, or until almost set in the center. Cool before serving. 

Yield: 6 - 8 servings
