orange juice

cup ground almonds

pistachio halves

for sprinkling
Method
Cream
butter and sugar, add egg and orange juice, beat until smooth. Gradually
add dry ingredients, mixing well.
On
a floured surface knead the dough until no longer sticky.
Pinch
off pieces of dough 1" in diameter.
Shape
into crescents.
Place
a pistachio half in center and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake
20 - 30 minutes, 350 F.
Remove
from sheet and roll in powdered sugar.
