Yellow
Plum Jam
Ingredients
- 6 cups
chopped yellow plums (3 pounds)
- 4 1/2
cups granulated sugar
- 3
tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 cup
water
Method
Combine
all ingredients. Bring slowly to boiling point, stirring
occasionally until sugar dissolves.
Cook rapidly almost to
jellying point; takes about 20 minutes. Stir frequently to prevent
sticking. Pour boiling hot into sterilized jars; seal.
Yield: 4 (8
ounce) jars.
