Homemade Jams and Jellies

Pineapple and Peach Conserve

Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cups diced peaches 
  • 1 cup canned pineapple chunks 
  • 2 cups sugar 
  • juice and rind of 1 orange 
Method 

Wash and blanch peaches; cut into cubes to measure 2 1/2 cups. Mix peaches and pineapple and sugar; add grated orange rind and juice. 
Slowly bring to boil, stirring occasionally until sugar dissolves; cook rapidly until thick and clear; about 20 minutes, stirring frequently. Pour boiling hot, into sterilized jars; seal. 

Yield: 3 (8 ounce) jars
