
Wash, but do not peel fruit. Cut in quarters, remove pits and seeds. Put through food chopper. Measure pulp into preserving bottle. Add equal amount of sugar. Boil for about 20 minutes or until jam like consistency. do not overcook. Add almond flavoring. Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal with wax or cool and freeze. Yield: 3 1/2 quarts |
