Ingredients
- 3 pounds
gooseberry
- 2 1/2
cups water
- 9 1/4
cups sugar
Method
Bring
the cleaned gooseberries and water to a boil
and simmer until tender.
Stir in the sugar and boil
rapidly until setting point
is reached.
Pour into hot sterilized jars.
Yield: 3
quarts.
