How to Frost a Cake
1.Cool cake completely and brush off loose crumbs.
2.Place bottom layer, topside down, on a plate.
3.Cover top of bottom layer, spreading frosting with a meta spatula.
4.Place top layer, bottom side down, over bottom layer.
5.Frost sides first, using free easy upward strokes, leaving a ridge of
frosting around top of cake.
6.Spread frosting on top, making swirls with spatula or spoon.
How to Frost Angel or Sponge Cakes
Place
top side down on cake plate. Frost as for layer cake or use a thin frosting
or glaze and spread
over
top, allowing it to dribble down sides.
To Frost Cupcakes
Dip top of each cupcake in frosting; turn to make a swirl on top.
