White Frosting
Ingredients
- 1 stick
(1/2 cup) butter
- 1/2 cup
shortening
- 1 cup
white granulated sugar
- 1 egg
white; beaten foamy
- 2/3 cup
lukewarm water
- 1
teaspoon vanilla
Method
Beat
till creamed butter, shortening and sugar.
Add egg white and beat well. Add
milk and vanilla slowly and beat well (about 10 minutes).
Frosts:
2 - 9" layers or 1 -13x9" oblong
