MAPLE SEVEN MINUTE FROSTING

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hot maple syrup 
  • 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar 
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar 
  • 1 egg white, unbeaten 
Method 

Combine hot maple syrup, cream of tartar and sugar in top of double boiler. Place over boiling water and add unbeaten egg white. Beat with electric beater until thick and smooth. Remove from heat and use immediately. 
  

YIELD: Enough for large layer cake
