Easter Basket Cake


 
Ingredients
  • 1 package Pillsbury Moist Supreme Cake Mix, any flavor 
  • 1 can Pillsbury Creamy Supreme Vanilla Frosting 
  • 1 cup coconut 
  • 1 to 2 drops green food color 
  • cardboard 
  • ribbon and bow 
  • candy coated almonds 
  • sugar coated marshmallow bunny or chocolate candy bunny 
Method 

Prepare cake mix according to package directions for two 8 or 9 inch layers.  
Bake as directed.  
Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans.  
Cool completely.  

Spread frosting between layers; frost top and sides of cake.  

In small bowl, combine coconut and food color; toss to evenly coat.  
Sprinkle coconut on top of cake leaving 1 inch border around cake.  
To make handle, cut a U-shaped strip from cardboard.  
Wrap cardboard strip with ribbon to cover. Attach bow.  
Push ends of cardboard down into cake to form handle. 
Decorate cake with almonds and bunny.
