Baked Custard Ingredients
Beat eggs
slightly with a fork. Stir
in sugar, salt and vanilla. Add a little of the hot milk to the egg
mixture and stir; add remaining milk and mix well. Strain. Pour
into 1 quart mold or 8 individual molds; sprinkle top with nutmeg. Set
mold or molds in a pan containing about one inch of hot water. Yield: 8 servings |
