Simple Dessert

Ingredient

  • 1 stick butter; unsalted
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup self rising flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • favorite pie filling
Method 

Preheat oven to 325°F. In an 8 by 8 inch glass baking dish melt  butter. When butter is melted, stir in 1 cup milk. With a wire whip, add  flour. Then add  sugar, using the wire whip, mix all till combined. DO NOT OVER MIX, THE BATTER SHOULD BE SLIGHTLY RUNNY AND LUMPY! 
Now take 1 can of your favorite pie filling, and drop by spoonfuls into the batter. DO NOT STIR! Bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until done. 
This is really great if you let it cool slightly, then top with Vanilla Ice Cream!
