Strawberry Dessert

Ingredient

• 2 2/3 cup thin pretzels - rolled to crush (not to fine) 
• 1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine 
• 3 tablespoons sugar 
• 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese 
• 1 cup sugar 
• 1 envelope dream whip, prepared 
• 2 small packages (3 ounce) strawberry jello 
• 2 cups boiling water 
• 2 small packages frozen strawberries 

Mix crushed pretzels with butter and sugar. Press into a 9 by 13 by 2 inch pan. Bake at 375°F. for 10 minutes. Cool. Mix cream cheese and cup of sugar until creamed well. Fold together with dream whip. Pour over pretzel crust. Mix jello and boiling water; add frozen strawberries. When jello has thickened, pour over cheese layer and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Top with dream whip, cool whip or whipped cream when serving.
