Pecan Sandies 


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter 
  • 1/2 cup sugar 
  • 2 teaspoons water 
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla 
  • 2 cups flour 
  • 1 cup chopped pecans 
Method 

Cream butter and sugar; add 2 teaspoons water and vanilla; mix well. Blend in flour and nuts; chill 4 hours. Shape balls or fingers. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 325°F for about 20 minutes. Remove from pan and cool slightly; roll in confectioners sugar.
