Chocolate Snaps

Ingredients

• 2 cups brown sugar 
• 1/2 cup butter 
• 1 egg 
• 1 cup grated chocolate 
• 1/2 cup sweet milk (condensed) 
• 1 teaspoon baking soda 
• about 2 cups of flour (add enough to make a soft dough) 

Method

Cream together brown sugar, butter, egg and grated chocolate. Sift dry ingredients together. Add alternately with the milk to the creamed mixture. Chill dough for several hours. Roll and cut with cookie cutter 
Bake at 350 F 10 - 15 minutes or until golden brown.
