Filbert Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter  
• 1/4 cup sugar 
• 1 egg 
• 2 cups flour 
• 1/2 pound ground filberts 
• sugar 
• cinnamon 

Method

Cream butter and sugar. Mix in egg; stir in flour and filberts. Roll in small hot dog shapes. Bake at 350° F on ungreased cookie sheets until slightly brown (about 20 minutes). 
Roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture. Store in a tin container and they will keep for a very long time.
