Leftover Vegetable Casserole 

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups cooked vegetables
  • 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
  • grated cheese (optional)
  • asparagus tips

 Method

Make a white sauce of butter, flour, salt and pepper. Put vegetables and bread crumbs in greased baking dish and add white sauce. Arrange asparagus on top and sprinkle with grated cheese or paprika. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
