Ingredients
- 2 squares
unsweetened chocolate
- 2 cups
sugar
- 1/2 cup
cold water
- 1/3 cup
corn syrup
- 1 cup
chopped peanuts
- 1 teaspoon
vanilla
Method
Grate
chocolate. Add water,
sugar, and syrup. Boil
to soft ball stage ( 234°F to 238° F). Remove from heat and add peanuts
and flavoring.
Cool slightly. Beat
until mixture begins to crystallize. Drop
by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
Yield: 6
