Toffee
Ingredients
- 1 cup
butter
- 1 cup
granulated sugar
- 1 cup
chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, pecans, hazelnuts)
Method
Melt the butter on medium low
heat, add the sugar. Stir slowly about 10 minutes until it turns
slightly brown. Add the nuts and stir about 2 to 3 minutes then turn
out on buttered oven-proof glass dish. This may be frosted with
melted Hershey bars and sprinkled with finely chopped nuts.
