Arabian Ribbon Cake Ingredients
Sift flour once. Measure, add baking powder and salt. Sift together 3 times. Cream butter thoroughly. Add sugar gradually and cream together until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks, beat well. Add flour alternately with milk, a small amount at a time, beating after each addition until smooth. Fold in egg whites. Fill one 9 inch layer pan. To remaining mixture, add spices. Turn mixture into 2 greased 9 inch layer pans and bake in moderate oven 350°F |
