Bienenstich Cake

Ingredients 

• 3 eggs
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 tablespoon butter

• 4 tablespoons buttermilk
• 4 tablespoons brown sugar
• 1 cup coconut

Beat eggs and sugar very well. Add flour and baking powder and continue mixing. Heat milk and butter in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add immediately to flour mixture and mix. Pour into an ungreased spring form pan.
Bake at 375° F for 30 minutes. After cake is baked, put on topping and place under broiler until brown. Cool. Slice cake in half, and fill with whipped cream.
