Apple Cake 2
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup
sugar
- 8
tablespoons soft margarine
- 1 cup
cake flour
- 2 eggs
- 1
teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2
teaspoon salt
- 5 drops
lemon extract
- 3
apples; peeled cored and sliced thin
- 2
teaspoon sugar mixed with 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Method
Stir
margarine and sugar until creamy and light. Add
eggs, one at a time and mix well.
add sifted dry ingredients and
beat well.
Add lemon extract. Pour
batter in a greased and floured spring form. Place
apple slices neatly in rows on top, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar
mixture.
Bake at 375°F for 45 minutes.
