Cantaloupe Ice


Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar

  • 1 1/2 cups water

  • 4 cups fresh cantaloupe pulp

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Method 

In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Boil for five minutes. cool. Remove cantaloupe from shell and puree in an electric blender on high speed. Add cantaloupe pulp and lemon juce to sugar syrup. Churn and freeze.

Yield: 1/2 gallon
